Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and bright, with a lovely big four-poster bed and a view overlooking the pub gardens and Lake Windermere. However, the decor seemed a bit tired, and attention to dusting could have been better. The advertised lake view was about 2 miles away, and the glimpses of the lake were not as prominent as expected.
My two-night stay at the Mortal Man was overall quite good. The rooms were spacious and quaint with great views and plenty of extra touches. The staff, especially Gary, Chloe, and Cathy, made us feel right at home. Although we stayed for four days despite indicating otherwise, it was a pleasant experience.
